Our much loved drama classes for kids and teens aim to help your children unleash their potential, expand their creativity and confidence, and become performers for Life!

Classes are not rehearsals for a show but skills based sessions that allow all students to participate fully in developing their creativity, social skills, discipline, and self-confidence. 

Through drama games, activities, and scripted work, students will discover a love for performing arts, learn to find their voice and be confident in their bodies, and work as part of team with the discipline required to be part of a theatre production. 

During the course of the year, SIK Kids drama students will be provided with opportunities to audition for our main productions including the December pantomime and have the chance to join a full scale theatre production*. (*Additional rehearsal schedule outside of classes)

All our SIK Kids classes are run in English by qualified drama teachers at our new home in Argan Bedaya, Sabah Al Salem, Block 1.

CLASSES BY AGE GROUP

DRAMA STARTERS: 4 – 5 year olds

  • Costume play, puppets, mime, songs, dance, storytelling and an introduction to acting and performance.

SIK KIDS 6 – 8 year olds

  • Voice and body control, movement, acting emotions, improvising and theatre 101

SIK KIDS 9 – 11 year olds

  • Voice and body technique, movement, improvising, learning lines, performance and theatre 102

SIK KIDS 12 – 16 year olds

  • Improvising, method acting, auditioning, script work, stage performance, introduction to film and TV
 
Aged 17 – 21 and passionate about drama? Why not come and join us as a classroom assistant (paid positions) and learn while you earn. Contact us to learn more.

COURSE FEES:
A 12 week term is 120KD per student. We offer a  20% discount when registering multiple children from the same family.
